The Boston Bruins played in the Boston Gardens. A unique arena that was much narrower than other hockey rinks. A young defenseman named Bobby Orr came along and helped transform the doormat Bruins into Stanley Cup winners in the 1970s. Gary Cheevers was a goaltender who switched to wearing a mask. His famous "stich marks" art work decorated it.
